Our Snow Park is perfect for family days out, team building and thrill-seekers. For families who want to learn something new together, we offer Ski Lessons and Snowboarding Lessons too. Great for learning a new skill, or brushing up on an old one, our snow-based lessons are designed to suit your individual learning style and help you progress through the ranks at a pace that works best for you.
Family Ski Lessons Manchester
If you’re looking for something new to experience as a family during the school holidays, or perhaps you would like to have some regular quality time together each week? Why not do both and consider learning to ski as a family. At Chill Factore we offer Beginner Ski Lessons, right through to Improver Lessons. Our instructors are trained to the highest standards and can take you from a complete snow novice to a proficient skier in almost no time at all. It’s a great way to bond as a family, build your fitness levels, and prepare you for ski holidays in the future.
Learn to Snowboard Manchester
If snowboarding is your passion, Manchester’s only real snow venue is the perfect place to let off some steam and develop your skills. Ideal for adults and younger learners, our Beginner Snowboarding Lessons can help you find your snow legs and familiarise yourself with the board and the snow. You can then go on to develop your skills with our lessons and advanced coaching. The UK’s longest real snow slope at Chill Factore is the perfect place for private snowboard lessons on the slope and freestyle sessions too. For those who want to learn to snowboard in Manchester, our snowboarding lessons are tailored to suit total beginners, intermediates or more advanced boarders.
Snow Park
Our Snow Park should certainly be on your list of things to do in Manchester with the kids. We’ve recently had a revamp and now offer even more fun than ever before! Everyone has a good time skidding and gliding on our Downhill Donuts, Ice Slide, and Sledge ‘n’ Slide — and we see lots of parents making snow angels too!

Many visitors come to Chill Factore not to take part in an activity themselves on the snow, but to watch friends and athletes. Our viewing balconies provide guests with a comfortable place to spectate and enjoy a hot chocolate, après ski style! The Lodge Bar & Kitchen
The Lodge Bar & Kitchen is a relaxing Alpine lodge located on the first floor in Chill Factore offering panoramic views over the slope. Great for a family day out and easily located, our real snow venue is the ideal adventure playground for adults, families and groups looking for something different and fun to do. Based at Beyond, near the Trafford Centre, we’re just a 5-minute drive from EventCity Manchester, a 10-minute drive from MediaCityUK in Salford and a 20-minute drive from Old Trafford football ground. The town of Stretford lies just south of our snow venue, while Manchester city centre, Castlefield and the Northern Quarter are all around seven miles away.
