Facilities Team Assistant
Contract Type: Full Time (40hrs per week) - Permanent

Why you’re here: As a Facilities Assistant you will be part of a team responsible for delivering an outstanding facility, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Your role will be working shifts to ensure the protection of life and property. This includes CCTV monitoring, the prevention of crime, fire, and damage to the property. You will be responsible for promoting a safe, secure, and pleasant working environment for our team and guests.
Duties may also routine patrols of the building and site. You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Facilities in ensuring the site both internally and externally is maintained and serviced to a high standard.

What you’ll need:
- Experience in facilities management and working to specification, time, quality, budget and meeting all health and safety requirements.
- Experience of working to a planned preventative maintenance programme
- Experience of working with a range of contractors, suppliers, specialists and project managers
- Preferably some experience of working in retail and/or large scale visitor attractions
- Good computer literacy & understanding of Microsoft Word/Excel and the ability to compile reports
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders, specialists, external consultants and the public to deliver the required outcomes
- Strong team player with excellent communication, reporting, enabling, negotiating and influencing skills
- Proven ability and experience of taking a guest focussed approach to work
- An ability to build rapport with all levels of the team and the wider business.
